What to Expect
Individual therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to understand what's keeping you stuck and create a path forward. Sessions are a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore difficult emotions, process past experiences, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others.
I use evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, integrating EFT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing—because healing isn't one-size-fits-all.
Anxiety Treatment
I use evidence-based approaches to help you understand your anxiety and develop practical skills for managing it. Rather than fighting against anxious thoughts and feelings, we'll work together to change your relationship with them.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps you develop psychological flexibility—the ability to be present, open up to difficult experiences, and take action guided by your values. Instead of trying to eliminate anxiety, ACT teaches you to make room for uncomfortable feelings while still moving toward what matters most to you.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
MBSR combines mindfulness meditation with body awareness practices to help you respond to stress more skillfully. Through regular practice, you'll learn to observe your thoughts and feelings without getting caught up in them, creating space for calmer, more intentional responses.
Understanding Sex and Love Addiction
Sex and love addiction involves compulsive patterns around romantic relationships, sexual behavior, or emotional attachment that cause significant distress or impairment in your life. You might find yourself repeatedly returning to behaviors that hurt you or others, feeling unable to stop despite wanting to, or using relationships or sex to manage difficult emotions.
These patterns often develop as ways to cope with underlying pain, trauma, or unmet emotional needs. Recovery involves not just changing behavior, but understanding and addressing what drives it.
